What is the Green Business Network?

The Green Business Network is an integrated energy efficiency and sustainability effort spearheaded by the Port of San Diego and San Diego Gas & Electric®. It is a postlude to the 2011 Green Business Challenge, which was the first of its kind on the West Coast. The friendly program asks local businesses around San Diego Bay to green their operations and track their successes. Those efforts are highlighted through a media campaign and an awards celebration that recognizes participants for their environmental leadership and commitment to energy efficiency.
